Welcome to our Primary 3 course on the fundamentals of digital citizenship and technology! This course is designed to teach students about digital citizenship through engaging and interactive lessons on topics such as My Online Community, Posting Selfies, The Power of Words, and Screening out the Mean! Additionally, students will learn how to use Google Slides, Google Maps, Google Map Maker, Spreadsheets, Canva, and the basics of coding and programming.

Throughout the course, students will develop important digital citizenship skills, including understanding how to interact safely and respectfully online, recognizing and responding to cyberbullying, and understanding the importance of protecting their personal information online.

In addition to digital citizenship, students will develop foundational technology skills, including how to create engaging presentations using Google Slides, how to use Google Maps and Map Maker to explore the world around them, and how to create and manipulate data using spreadsheets. Students will also learn the basics of graphic design using Canva and be introduced to the fundamentals of coding and programming, including block-based programming and basic coding concepts.

By the end of the course, students will have developed a range of important digital citizenship and technology skills, setting them up for success in their academic and personal lives. They will be able to use technology effectively and responsibly, creating engaging presentations, manipulating data, and exploring the world around them.
